Title: Game crashing - Ubuntu 14.04 with AMD Radeon(TM) R5 Graphics
Post by: johnnyboyy on August 07, 2015, 05:02:16 PM
More specifically, it's a:
410 APU 410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics AMD A8-6410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics × 3

I can load the game up okay, but about 5-10 minutes into playing the game closes out and I get a message along the lines of

[1]    6891 abort (core dumped)  ./VoidExpanse.x86

I switched to the proprietary drivers and tried getting the 32bit compatibility packages without any luck.

Is this just because these new APU chips aren't supported or do you need more info to tell?

Thanks

Hello!
Thanks for reporting. Most of the crashes are related to the 3rd-party libraries the game using. We're working actively with their developers to fix the crashes.
The AMD APU has full support by the game engine and it should not be a problem.
I've sent you a private message.
Regards!
