Hello!
Thanks for reporting. Have you tried turning off the Firewall and then restart the server?
And what the way you're using to connect to the server? From public server list? Have you tried adding the server address to Customs servers list and connect to it from there?
Regards!

How it works for you now?
BTW, 32-bit version is uses nearly twice less memory with nearly the same performance (and, I think, faster saves as it doesn't require serialize so much data from memory to create the savegame).

Hello!
Are you running the server with --dedicated launch arg? If so, the SettingsServer.xml file should appears nearby the server executable.
If not, the SettingsServer.xml file will be saved at /Documents/AtomicTorchStudio/VoidExpanse.

Bug reports / Re: Crash when flying around...
April 14, 2015, 08:23:46 PM
Hello!
How often is it crashing for you?
What OS are you running?
It seems the issue is appears only for a small part of the players, and, unfortunately, we can't reproduce it.

The game contains of two parts - the server and client. So the crash happens only with the client - and the server will do autosave and quit instantly when the client process dies. So usually there are no need to set savegame interval every 5 minutes. If you load the savegame, where is your ship appears - in the previous savegame location or where it's been during the crash?

Regards!

Thanks for the fast response.
It seems we should not use Mono 3.12 as it much slower on 64-bit in our case and causes memory leaks.
I will rebuild bundles with a previous stable Mono version.

Hi!
Thanks for reporting.
It seems that was caused by a massive memory leak:
total_memory_gc_mb=2120.23
total_memory_process_mb=3268.65

The bundled server should run fine as it uses the same code, as non-bundled Mono... Will investigate it!

saved game is still showing corrupted and wont load.
Steam appeared to load the new patch.
Is the game version "v1.2.6" in main menu? If so, then I'm sorry for the corrupted savegame. We've fixed all the issues with the savegame system in v1.2.6 and the new savegames will not be corrupted anymore.
Regards!
