Update on the update.

Current additions to the next update

-  Calibers (Ammotypes) have been balanced (Might need more later, but atm armor piercing has been fixed)

- Psi Blockers (Utility Items you can equip that give you Psi Protection)

- Energy Shields (Utility Items you can equip that give you Various Protections)

- Resource Pile Addition to the scav spawns (It is now the major spawn, but garbage piles still spawn at a decent rate)

- Military Caches, now contain most of the weapons (Handguns will still appear in garbage piles)

- City and military locations have been finished and zoned properly, now the first city has more usefulness, also everything that has been zoned for loot has been made unbuildable (this may need to be a larger zoning situation but for now it should be fine)

- More POI's placed around (airbase, some minor buildings scattered around, bridge to a new island | not currently ready yet so cuts off before it reaches it, as this will be the exit from the newbie area)

(Edit) - The armors will remain normal, but ammo type damages will be increased meaning armor will be even more important

Well, theres plenty of ways to help the economy become necessary, one way im moving in is making ruins contain rare items like weapons that cant be built, therefor a player either has to buy from another player, or find one themselves, if they want it.


you can adopt this easily, but it isnt the only way to increase the need for a economy.

If you find a bug (IE weapons not being held moderatly well, or something causing a crash) please reply to this thread with details specificly Which weapon (Full name) or what exactly you were doing to cause the crash, if its a crash repeating it would be advised to avoid useless searches for crashes that may have just been bad luck.

List has gotten too extensive, to save space on the thread ill just give a exact number, for more detailed information please see the Discord dev section, I have a lack of time atm so updating the game is all i want to be spending my free time on, sorry for the inconvenience, but time atm is limited.

Anyone using this mod should know that im adding stuff slowly, and that some parts may not have stuff that uses it yet.


Anyways now that i've stated that, heres what i have added so far

-------------

- Fallout 2 + some of Fallout Tactics music pack, enjoy the ambiance from Mark Morgan and Inon Zur.

- Edited the music system to play music more often.

- 8mm additional ammo types.

- 9mm and additional ammo types

- Luger has been set to its proper Ammo type (9mm)

- Only 9mm Standard can be researched from the new ammos, the rest need to be found in military stashes or garbage piles around the map.

- A few new weapons which are findable in Military Loot Cases (Rare Chance)

- Durabilities have been increased by alot for weapons and armor, there resource needs will also raise later on when i get around to it, as they felt like air was corrosive for how long they lasted, now they will last days longer, this is towards the addition of new weapons as they wont be buildable.

Info on new weapons and items:

The new weapons and items will all be findable in the randomized ruin loot, meaning you will have to scav for most of the good items in the game, or your favorite weapons (Vanilla weapons will still be craftable)

  - This is my current decision, but may change if i have issues or decide on a better route towards a more scav based wasteland.

This is a mod im working on for my server "Fallout - Adventures of the Wasteland"

Time for a indepth explanation now that ive gotten a decent start on it

- This game will be following in the Harsh mode mods from Fallout NV and Fallout 4  (DUST & FROST), Basicly the game world will be based around scavenge, resources will still be littered around the map but junk piles will be scattered around which may contain valuable resources, or weapons or other needed items, this will all also relate to your search skill for how much loot you can obtain, the map will also follow more in suit with DUST, where the world will some what resemble the fallout 2 Barren wasteland look, However there is a mediocre Boreal Forest in the mountains, which will probly be the only real green presence in the wastes, least for the time being.

- Players will start out with a knife and a single bottle of water with 5 MRE's.

- Resources are scarce which means that scavenge will be the major way of getting things you need (This scavenge also includes prebuild components and items, as well as weapons and ammo, meaning you will have to choose what to take with you, or create a storage base for all the stuff you scavenge around the wasteland.

- Atm there are no new mobs but at some point I will be taking a look at this, but as I'm not a artist it may take me a while to get anything done on this aspect.

- There is a large ammount of weapons at this point, and the list will keep growing as I work on getting more weapons from the various fallouts, and from our real world large selection.

- This mod is based around PVP and PVE meaning if you want to get anywhere its better in groups, solo is possible but be ready to be hate f***** to the stone age, so bring a friend or two, or even better create new ones as you play, this isnt manditory, but it will make your gameplay more enjoyable as I stated above, but again fallout does have raiders, and the server is based around RP (at least Lite RP), so its really up to you the player to determine how you act towards the world around you.
