How do I get the launcher? I tried searching the forums and such but find no links to it. Or is it only for people who bought it direct from the website?

Yes, this is only for players who bought the game directly from AtomicTorch.com.
Damn wish I knew that. Would make installing mods so easy, what about making a launcher that only has the mod install part and no game download ability?
Mod install? You can just drop the mods at /Documents/AtomicTorchStudio/VoidExpanse/Mods (even when the game is running) and open the Mods menu from the main menu in the game. The mod should appear immediately. Then you just need to check mod as active.
It works in both Steam and non-Steam versions.
