So I bought another copy of Cryofall for my wife, but for some reason it's getting this message on her computer:

"This Application requires one of the following version of the .NET Framework: .NETFramework,Version=v4.7.1
Do you want to install this .NET Framework version now?"

so I try to update to that version but then I get:

"Blocking Issues: The .NET Framework 4.7.1 in not supported on this operating system."

Help anyone?

I have windows 10, same as my computer. Both comps have version 4.0 (from what I saw in the registry).

The computer that it's having trouble on has:

Windows 10 64bit
GTX 570
16GB RAM
i7 4790k
250GB SSD (Samsung)
Z97-AR (ASUS) Mobo

Hi!

This is very unusual. Windows 10 definitely supporting .NET Framework 4.7.1. Please ensure that you have Windows Update enabled and all the updates are installed, probably you have one of the earliest versions of Windows 10 which doesn't support fresh versions of .NET Framework.
Also, please try installing .NET Framework 4.7.2 http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=863262 it's including 4.7.1 runtime.
