Oh, that double barrel ballistic cannon looks cool. Almost like it is a vanilla model :)

And just a note: You can actually install mods just by double clicking on the mpk file if you are using the launcher. It will be automatically copied in the right location and installed.

Since it is first time for us, and there are quite a lot involved with getting the game on Steam I simply cannot say, sorry. But we will definitely try to make it as soon as possible.
But general idea is as follows:
1. Prepare the necessary paperwork.
2. Make a big update with some important features that are still missing such as localization, autopilot, etc.
3. Release on Steam!

We are very happy to announce that VoidExpanse has finally been Greenlit! We couldn't even imagine how much support we would get from the community when we launched that campaign. And now, after just one month after the submission you helped VoidExpanse get on Steam. That means a lot to us, and to the future of the game. Thank you everyone!

We can now shift our focus back to the development again and continue with the updates as we did before the campaign. We are really striving to to make the best game possible and we hope you continue supporting us in the future!

We will also provide you with more information on the Steam version of the game and release date fairly soon. So stay tuned and don't forget to check our blog once in a while!

I would say 2009 version makes at least some sense compared to older ones that are just ridiculously impractical :)

It isn't that simple :)
We do plan to implement a lot of steam features but it takes time. It even takes time for us to learn what's even viable in the first place.
So, hold your horses for now :) We will investigate possible things and let everyone know :)

Well, we he have a very detailed storyline leading to the events of the game as well as a clear timeline. But I am not sure if we should just post it...
For one it could ruin the mystery of the game world... Alternatively we still have some ideas of introducing more backstory through the game itself.
There are a lot of things to consider before we release the story document...

Well we don't mark sun on the minimap since you can't really interact with it. And when you are close to the sun it is pretty apparent due to visual effects.
But do you think it should be marked?

As for teleporting items - not possible, since it would destroy the trading system. You could buy items on one station, put it in storage, go to another and sell from the storage. Wouldn't make sense :)
