Title: Cannot compile core scripts
Post by: turboken on April 04, 2019, 01:08:51 PM
When I launch the game from Steam, I get a magenta screen then a white box pops up  with
Cannot compile core scripts
No mods installed

and the errors are all paths to game files with the Errors: Namespace System.Runtime is forbidden.

I was home on my lunch break to try and play and can upload a screenshot tonight or troubleshoot (I started a reinstall as I'm headed back to work).
Thanks,
Ken

Hello!

There is a known issue ΓÇö a conflict with the old version of CryoFall.
To resolve the issue, please delete this folder: <your documents>/AtomicTorchStudio/CryoFall

Regards!

Great, that fixed it.  Odd, I didn't have any older versions installed, just the steam release yesterday!

turboken, I'm glad to hear this helped.
Are you sure you have never installed CryoFall during the open alpha? It was running for almost a year.

I've been busy, so there's a chance I downloaded the Alpha in the last few months and don't remember, but I've been pretty excited about Cryofall, so I don't think I could have installed it and forgot, but I can't say I didn't either!

Thanks,
Ken
