When asteroids are depleted, do you guys have any plans on making them disintegrate and not show on screen?

I just bought the game last night, and for the most part, haven't really dived into the depth of the game itself and what it offers. When I was looking around for games to play, I wanted something that brought me back to my SubSpace days. This captured that. I wanted something similar to EVE Online with no monthly fees or confusing interface. This captured that.

But what I'd love to see, are drones. I've seen healing drones, but other types as well, such as mining, defensive, offensive, etc. type drones. As I said, I'm not too far into the game, but these would help a lot, I feel.
