Just picked the game up but have seen a number of gameplay videos. Very much like it so far.
However, in the Galaxy map view I don't seem to have the information popups for tech level or threat level and I don't see the faction territory overlay.
Can someone help me out with what I'm missing or if there is a setting to enable/disable those features?
Can you upload a screenshot? It's difficult to say anything without seeing what's going on.
I'm sure it's a bug. Could you provide more details please (bug reporting guide (http://forums.atomictorch.com/index.php?topic=39.0))?

There is a screenshot of a portion of the star map.
I can see system names, but on hover over a star I don't see any pop up info on the system details and I don't see any shading for faction territories on the map at all.
Edit: Works fine on a new game. I'll assume it was a one time bug with that save.
