Could you upload the whole "Logs" folder on Google Drive and share the link please? We will check every log file to determine the issue.
By the way, are you using any antivirus software? If so, have you added the game executable files to the antivirus white list as described on this Wiki page? http://wiki.atomictorch.com/VoidExpanse/Troubleshooting

Hello!
Usually such issues are happens when the server cannot write the savegame file for some reason (maybe an antivirus software blocking it).

Could you upload all the server log files please? The uploaded server log doesn't have any information related to the issue.

The next patch could be released tomorrow (it's ready and we're testing it). It would be great if we include a fix for this issue as well.

This update should address most VE issues on Linux.

=== VoidExpanse v1.6.7 ===
Changes:
   * Improved network synchronization, should be much more stable and less lags on bad quality connections
   * Updated to Unity 5.3.2p4 (fixes for Linux issues)
   * Modding: added support for interactable debris and other space objects (specify device target as "space_object")

Fixed:
   * Linux issues (black/pink screen and visual artifacts) should be resolved now (Unity 5.3.2p4)
   * Ray weapons damage was calculated and applied improperly
   * Minor multithreading UI bug when connecting to multiplayer servers
   * Multiplayer servers list minor issues with servers using custom ports
   * Gameplay smoothness was affected when the server running for a long time (>1 week uptime)

* Saves ARE compatible with the previous versions!

The issue should be fixed with latest Unity 5.3.2p4. At least kyokei confirmed the fix.
We will upload the latest build early next week.

Nope, not possible to downgrade.
And there are still some other issues at 5.3, for example the bitmap fonts are rendered little bit blurred (with pixel-perfect rendering).

I just wanted to say that Unity is TOTALLY CRAP, but we still use it for VoidExpanse and maybe we will use it for future games based on Dinocide code, so - no, I didn't said that Unity is TOTALLY CRAP. Sure, did I?..

Hi,
We updated to Unity 5.3 before releasing Dinocide because it fixed several critical issues (physics collision miss, crashes, UI issues, etc).
Unfortunately, for most Linux players it doesn't work well. We're still waiting for the fixes from Unity team. It seems they will fix it with Unity 5.4 only scheduled on March 16 :-(. Latest 5.3.2 patch releases do not help.

Hello!
If I understood you correctly, you could use Steam mods, but cannot use local mods dropped to the folder "C:\Users\hpr\Documents\AtomicTorchStudio\VoidExpanse\Mods\" because the game cannot access/load it.
The game requires that you place only *.MPK-files to the folder "C:\Users\hpr\Documents\AtomicTorchStudio\VoidExpanse\Mods\". The MPK files are simple deflate ZIP without compression (none or zero compression level) which contains "header.xml" at its root.

Could you try please copying any *.MPK-file from Steam Workshop (without decompressing/recompressing/any modification) to this folder and confirm that the issue still persist?
