Ideas and suggestions / Devlopment Plan
« on: February 13, 2015, 12:43:55 pm »
So I have some ideas as to what could be added in terms of small features and whatnot, however before I start making some posts I was wondering is there a development plan or path posted so I can see whats already planned for the game. I know I saw mention somewhere that you had wanted to implement drones at some point, what else? I'm really enjoying the game and I am so excited to see where the developers are going to take it, along with where the modding community is going to take it further! Might just convince to do a little side work and brush up my coding skills I haven't used since college.  :P

Quick question about game versions and saved games. I updated from 1.01 to 1.04, my saved game is incompatible. Now I do understand that as the game is patched the saves wont work because of some of the newly implemented features, however is that going to happen any time there is a new patch even for bug fixes?

We could try and schedule a time for a few of us being on at the same time, pick a date and a time (and a time zone) and I can help test.

I was going though my steam que, mostly just clicking and re-clicking on the "not interested" button and this popped up and it looked great. I was a bit sad I couldn't grab it from steam, and I was about to just toss it on my wishlist and move on, but I couldn't let it go. I wanted to play this game, so I searched for it via Google, got to this site and bot my copy and have been more the elated with how good its been!

Good morning everyone,

I just grabbed VE a few days ago after seeing it come up in my steam discovery queue, and after a meager 8 or so hours with the game I am thoroughly impressed. I am very excited to see where this game is going and what the community is going to do with it. I am looking to become a part of this community and would like to extend the offer of help in any way to both the community and the devs. I am 10 year IT specialist, that unfortunately couldn't code my way out of a paper bag, but I do know a good amount when it comes to desktop/network/system admin.

On a side note, have you ever tried to promote your game on the spacesector site? it might be worth while once its steam released.
