This mod looks even more interesting than before. I may want to give it a try after we finish with the work for A23 update :)

Ideas and suggestions / Re: Fast Travel

We will have vehicles in the game eventually. We are also exploring other ideas to allow travel across the map, including teleportation.

It is simply an environmental hazard. So you should avoid it.
There is nothing to do with it directly :)

There are always several large pragmium crystals in the desert and they respawn relatively fast.
But if you want to find a more or less guaranteed spot - you can go to volcano and mine some pragmium there. Though, you will need heat protection to go there.

This sounds interesting. Can you provide a few screenshots for your mods?

Game discussion / Re: Any date for next update ? Wipe ?
« on: June 10, 2019, 09:15:20 pm »
Anyway, personally, I donnot think frequent wiping is a good idea.
Wipes are not frequent, if you take a look at wipes in the past, they happened roughly only every 2 months or so. As I said before, only with major version releases.

New structures, facilities, etc. can and should be introduced to make the game more interesting.
But why not try to expand the area of the current map to accomodate these changes.
That is why wipes are needed. To introduce those changes.

Frequent wiping does do harm to the spread of this great game.
Quite the opposite is true.
Every time a wipe happens we see thousands of players returning to the game.
Thousands of players are eagerly waiting for each wipe and each update.

Wipes get so frequently.
Current players pay to help test the game.
Will there be any rewards for us?
There is a reply to this in another topic.

Here's a copy:

Actually most players are eagerly waiting for wipes with every version. It gives everyone an opportunity to start anew in a fresh economy and experience the game again.

This is especially important when updates are released as they introduce a lot of new features and many changes into the game and most players want to have the opportunity to experiences all of those new features the way they were meant to be discovered.

We have always restarted official servers with each update since the game release and even for about a year of alpha access before release.

While I certainly understand that it may seem like you are losing progress - but in reality it gives you a new opportunity to use what you learned previously and progress much faster after the wipe.

Plus, with each update we are making progression speed faster, as new content is added. For example this following update in July will introduce a whole new electricity system to use on your bases. You can build generators, energy storage, electric furnaces, recharge station and multitude of other structures and devices that will use electricity within this new system.

Also, currently there is a technical reason why we can't keep the saves even if we wanted to. We simply cannot update the game without wiping the official servers due to save incompatibility. But we are hoping that in the future we will be able to add save compatibility and reassess whether we want to continue wiping official servers at that point.

Still, if you would like to continue playing without ever wiping and updating - you can join one of community servers that are dedicated for long term play and never wipe or run your own private server where you will have full control over wiping and updating.

I didn't see the disassembly system in the Development Roadmap.
So after the next version update, if I get a lot of fur and rope, can I just throw it all over the floor?
We have a trash can in the game which you can build to dispose of unnecessary items :)

My friend satirizes this so-called earth technology, and by the way laughed at this alien setting. It can be said that all the technologies in the skills are the technologies owned by the earth.
Have you tried to tell your friend that this is an adventure on the earth outside?
The game is set on another planed that was colonized and terraformed, which is why it looks similar to earth.

Plus it is a game. It is not meant to be realistic, it is meant to be fun! :)

But I certainly understand what you mean and we do plan to add a lot more different alien stuff. Please just understand that the game just came out a couple of month ago into early access and there is still a lot more work left for us.

You leave the pragmium pillar at one little bit of health.. then as you swing you already run away if you miss re time it. Keep running away and you will never get hit by that explosion. You do not need mining charges.
Don't you need cigars with +10% speed boost for that?
Either way mining charges are much safer option.

How can I safely collect pragmium?
Ah, yes. This is one of the tricks with pragmium! :)
You can first weaken it with a pickaxe until only a little bit of structure is left and then use a mining charge to completely destroy it. But make sure to run away very far, so the explosion doesn't touch you.

Gemstones are incredibly rare. They have 1/1000 chance of dropping. So you might not ever see one.
But usually is you play consistently you can still find a few of them eventually.

These are just leftover marks after explosives. They do not impact the game in any way. Essentially just decorations.
