Heavily inspired

The game seems very VERY heavily "inspired" by the Adventure Island series on the NES and SNES, by Hudson. Can you speak to this at all?

EDIT: Played the demo. "Inspired by" might be a bit lenient.

That's correct. The game takes inspirations from many oldschool games including adventure island series.

We loved these games as kids and we wanted to give people a chance to experience something similar in modern implementation :)

I think we were able to achieve these goals. At least judging by Steam reviews where we have more than 75% positive reviews for the game, so people seem to be enjoying the game!
