Lancefighter, Hello! Seems like the downloaded game distributive was corrupted :(. Please could you try to delete all files from C:/Users/Andrew/AppData/Local/AtomicTorchStudio/GameLauncher/Downloads and reinstall game from GameLauncher? It will re-download everything and issue should be resolved then.
Regards!

Bug reports / Re: Wont load save game

Well, v0.9.5 should fix issues in savegames from v0.9.4 (as I do manually with savegame you uploaded for me), but there are still may be client-side issues when loading some specific savegame on a specific hardware/OS setup. Please upload logs, hope we can finally resolve it soon!
Regards!

Game discussion / Re: Offline Mode
August 04, 2014, 05:26:22 AM
JiminyJickers, hello and welcome to Forums!
As Lurler said above, if you run it at least once with the internet to download your profile, then you don't need the internet to play the game, certainly. Only if you intend to play in multiplayer.
So download it, run it and every launch after that you can play in offline without any problems.
Regards!

Bug reports / Re: 0.9.4 bugs - so far
August 04, 2014, 03:51:35 AM
Most issues resolved in v0.9.5.
But Linux issues still present if you play in the Windowed mode. The Fullscreen mode should not have any issues, but we tested only on our testing machines with a NVIDIA GPU.

You can download the previous stable version (0.9.3) on the "My Games & Items" (https://atomictorch.com/Account/MyItems) page. But savegames will not load with the future versions, sorry!

And after switching to the middle monitor the game do not allow to switch resolution to 2560x1600 in the options menu? Not good indeed, we will fix it on next week ASAP, the game should run on the current monitor, where you launch it.

I think this is more aimed at AI:

Would it be possible to add an option of visiblity in the server settings and make it so that when a new player starts up VE, goes to Multiplayer that he sees all the available visible servers? Instead of having to add them manually?

Thanks,
We will think about it. Technically there is no problem in implementing it, as we already store all online servers list on the Master Server.

Second thing which still bugs me is that I can't zoom out more. Not sure if more people have this "issue" but I would love to be able to zoom out more, just so that I can atleast see stuff which is within my radar zone.
From the technical side, it will increase loading on the server and networking very hard - because it requires extending the scope size of the player (for example, every projectile fired far-far away will be checked every frame for enter/exit all players scopes in the star system, same for asteroids, ships, stations and any other dynamic object). But is not hard to try, only two constants, so maybe it's worth a try. Thanks for idea!

BTW, higher tier freigher/miner ship is would be a nice addition, but it's really can create a new gamedev meme "80 lvl miner", isn't it? :-)
