About the drop of queen prag heart... The only thing that you can do with that drop is pragmium hatchet rigth? And you can farm everything with a single hit but it have only 50 use right? My sugestion is to improve the durability of pragmium hatchet or maybe recharge it  and give more option of item that you can make with queen prag heart like some improvement system energy at base that give a good boost of energy with a good durability.

On average you get 3 or more hearts per queen fight (4-5 players)

Its also great for wood, you can very quickly gather 250 wood with 1 hatchet. Which translates to  1000 charcoal for steel recipe.

Also as with everything else repair your hatchet to get more use out of it. Repair you item with well rested buff.

Bug reports / Trading station Exploit

You can buy or sell an item with less than 100 percent durability.

E.g someone can sell laser rifles when they finish using it at 1 % durability and charge full price. Buyer will not be aware until trade is complete.

I would reccomend no one buy anything with durability until this is addressed

Game discussion / Tips and Hints
May 28, 2020, 02:34:38 PM
It would be really cool if you can add any hints and tips here and please stay on topic.

I will add more when i remember or if i come across something useful.. in no particular order.

* It goes without saying for a complete beginner do as much of the quests as you can to get the general gist of the game.

* because the cryofall wiki is lacking right now, the CNEI mod IMO is a Very useful tool and a must have mod.

* when there is an event, if you hover over it on the minimap it shows how many items have been claimed. This is good as sometimes people dont go to the far to reach ones especially when there is a low player count. Also its good data to let you know if its worth the trip, if you are far and 1 item has already been claimed then it may not be worth the trip.

* this next one surprisingly a lot of people dont know... you can prioritise build order by left clicking on an item in the queue

* if your hover board or mech is 'in the world' or ' in garage' you can summon it to your garage or a garage on another claim or allies claim. Note: you cannot summon if its standing on garage.

* you can sell hoverboards and mechs by adding an owner and then the owner can delete you, take payment first !

* hover boards travel faster on roads

* trading stations are better situated across roads as the most traffic is on roads.

* if your gameplay time is limited and you cant grind the LP, a good tip is to leave vehicle bays till end game. Pay someone you trust the parts to build a vehicle bay and hoverboard/mech for you.

* on topic of LP , early game hunting is a great way. Make 4 -5 machettes and go on a killing spree. Except for Swamp Queen, Floaters, Fire Lizard and Scorpion everything can be kited melee

* to kite, attack from southern direction, different creature have different timings. E.g for prag beetles you need to be running. Thanks to Maom_see for informing me of this.

* if the cloaked lizard annoys you at mines early game, have him chase you, manipulate his movements so that you are north side of an ore node and he is south, he will attack through the rock but can't hit you. You can melee him in this postion without taking damage however you cant kill him as he runs. Dont chase him as bites even in retreat unless you have a bullet or two to spare.

* cheese is a great way to earn LP and most players main source however with everything there are diminishing return to LP however cheese still gives good LP even at skill level 20

*is your claim close to a rad town ? Abuse the crap out of that loot, hit it often !

* Tinkering an oft ignored aspect of the game. Make a storage box and throw all your 1-3% item in their early game. Dont throw them away !  Mid to late game its very easy to make duct tape. I have a box with all my item in need of repair and i craft 100 duct tape in their aswell. Best time to repair is with the well rested buff. A high maintenance skill is invaluable with t4 items...

* the Fire Lizard and Scorpion can be manipulated to become trapped behind terrain. They alway make a bee line and if they hit an object and you are in that bee line they will become trapped by said object, even something as small as a prag node and the blast away from a safe distance. In rad towns you can do the same thing with the crumbled edge if a wall, once trapped you can shoot from the side

* when planting a dynamite at a pragmium spire, once planted keep running in the opposite direction until you hear the second louder explosion.

* the fire lizard can be tricky and alway tries to close in on you. I have noticed you can predict his ranged attack... he makes a sound before shooting , if you can get the timing right you can side step his shot by strafing left or right ( with run enabled) at the right time. The closer he is the harder this is to do.

* floaters from the event are a great source of LP, they also drop rubber and other loot.

Hi,

Bare in mind im a PVE player and some of these suggestion relate to PVE only.

1. Map feature - toggle on/off shop icons

2. Map feature- ability to drop a circular shaded grid on map, sort of a how the fog of war works. Say a green overlay, as you traverse the map the overlay turns back to normal. This is to help when your searching; prag in deserts, events. Especially desert can get confusing, dropping a grid then checking to see if you have been through will be a great help. This is not a necesary feature but if its easy to implement...

3. I know the hoverboard travel faster on roads. But how about a throttle feature, travel faster for a limited time at the expense of energy use.

4. This is a big one.... and IMO a must ! A tab for trading! That lists all shops what they are selling, buying and their co-ords.

5. Sound effects - it would be cool when you select a laser weopon and when the gun initiates into armed mode (  large reticle locks in when batterypack is equipped ) a power up sound is triggered.

6. Mk1 and skipper, give mk1 some cargo slots, even as little as 6-9. To give it a use rather than being a meme board, it can be slowed to running speed but give it cargo. Skipper, turn it in to an endgame mining/tree cutting instrument. No weopons but cheaper to run than a manuul.

7. Hangers for airdrops, that has a not-player-controlled helicopter which can deliver between hangers on different claims. Anything loaded in to the cargo of the hanger can be air dropped to another claim.

8. Once you reach endgame something to do with the empire you have amassed ! I like the idea of creating randomised dungeon and going on quests in party. Maybe some kind of story line ?

9. Having an advanced power management option on Landclaim. With options like having certain object drawing power from specific type of power source only. E.g i would want my solar power to run lights and fridges. And my plant and other machinery to run of steam or gas.

10. A tips section , i will make another topic with some tips i figured out by trial and error and some via others help. A random tip could be included on the loading screen..

12. This one might defeat the purpose of the game but... if a storage box is near a workshop the workshop has acces to the resource as if it was in your inventory. It can be locked behind an expensive tech ?

I would consider playing PVP , as one of the main barriers to PVP is the fear of logging and and having my efforts destroyed

I must be one of the few people who do this event,
I play pve, 170 hour in.

I do the event because no one else does usually ended up with a lot of rubber, slime, insect meat and toxins.
Not to mention they are a great source of LP.

I hate searching for rubber trees this was my main source of rubber although now i just trade pragmium for rubber.

The slime is great for volcano gel, my main source of pragmium.

The insect meat can be used for mulch or energy.

Game discussion / Best Location on the map
May 06, 2020, 04:22:23 PM
New player here, less than 50 hours played.

Am i right in assuming the best location is edge of north area of swamp, so you can build landclaim 2 on the green side of the edge. So your close to ore deposits too.

Or the same thing with the desert?
Desert might be even better as salt is available here..
But ore deposits mite b a slighlty further out than swamp.

Thoughts ?

Edit :

The perfect location is in fact in the the North East, where the desert meets the green.  Close to the 3 ore mines. I spoke to players in my server, this is a sought after location and there is usually a rush to get there after resets.

Second best is any of the other desert openings or than where swamp meets the green.

If you were unluckly like me, its a pain having to travel between landclaims for stuff. I feel in PVE atleast there should be an option to travel between land claims. Even if its like a tier 4 thing thats locked behind LP.

Hello!

You can hover the mouse cursor over the minimapΓÇöit will display the current coordinate.

We're planning to implement map marks and waypoints so it will be easier to go to a certain place on the map.

Regards!

Excellent i did not know this. Should be good enough.

Ideas and suggestions / Minor Suggestion
May 06, 2020, 03:30:44 PM
Is it possible to get current coordiates displayed outside the map. Somewhere on the main screen, in the corner. Perhaps have a feature where it can be enabled/disabled. Either this or
This next suggestion may need a lot of work so maybe not viable.... if you place a marker or coordianted on map; when you then exit map an arrow points the way. Like gps...

My original idea is enough for me though.
