I understand you're not native English speakers and happy to help with the text.

SPOILER ALERT Ending spoilers follow for people who haven't finished the game!

Here's another set having to do with the ending for The Order. (link (http://i.imgur.com/eAvtG7q.png)) I've noticed irregular references to the "Far Colonies" and sometimes they are called "Far colonies". My corrections to these references I feel are what you intended.

"As remaining Xengatarn ships are destroyed by the Order forces all around Far colonies you contemplate what has transpired in this short time of your involvement."
"As the remaining Xengatarn ships are destroyed by the Order forces all around the Far Colonies, you contemplate what has transpired in this short time of your involvement."

"This war, that has torn Far colonies away from the Federation space has finally came to an end thanks to actions of one brave hero."
"This war, that has torn the Far Colonies away from Federation space, has finally come to an end thanks to the actions of one brave hero."

"It is, indeed, a grand day for humanity and for peace of the galaxy."
"It is, indeed, a grand day for humanity and peace across the galaxy."

"It will still be a few years until the words of your success reach the Federation Space and a new jumpgate connection is established reuniting the people. But it is nothing, compared to a new hope for millions of people living in this region of space."
"It will still be a few years until the words of your success reach Federation Space and a new jumpgate connection is established reuniting the people. But it is nothing compared to a new hope for millions of people living in this region of space."

"Xengatarns are defeated, destroyed and wiped out from the face of the galaxy!"
"The Xengatarn have been defeated, destroyed, and wiped out of the galaxy!"

"Who knows why they went aggressive and attacked our colonies starting this long and bloody war, but it is hardly an important question now."

Bug Description: I'm finding the game gets rather unstable starting when I use ships with 3 or 4 laser weapons. Sometimes when I fire them and hit an enemy ship the game will freeze for a few seconds. If it doesn't stop at this point then it continues with my ship "jumping" in space as it realigns with the server. Otherwise the game client or server thinks the other disconnected and they give up (I read a bit of the logs).

Possibly related also is I notice the interface can take longer to load when you bring up the inventory, system map, and galaxy map screens. I basically feel I can predict when the crash is incoming by this. I think there may still be a memory leak in the client as I see these things come up after playing for a bit.

One time this happened I had just beat the game and after I loaded the save again and started over, the game disconnected when I attacked the very first pirate I encountered. I'm fairly sure the local server was ended and restarted when I finished the game, however I didn't close the client during this.

Here's my last set of logs from a crash: link (https://www.dropbox.com/s/livxxk4rf0kqty3/Logs-crash-01.zip?dl=0)

I've gotten these sometimes from killing pirates but you can mine them as well. They are in black and red asteroids. I'll take a screenshot next time I see one. You can also buy them in stations.

The next step of the quest is to go to an Order terminal and research the name. I was able to do this and advance the quest by going to the Order capital system and the first station I found let me finish it (http://i.imgur.com/HdbdUzT.png).

Now that I'm thinking about this, I might be confusing this with another quest perhaps. There's a similar spy quest where you have to hack 3 terminals and the bases are marked for you. So I may be wrong with this bug actually. I thought the last time I played though that it pointed to a particular Order base to proceed.

I already turned in the quest so I can't really test it at the moment. I'll try to set something up where I can try again and pay more attention.

Hmm. I think this is how it went.

I believe I was playing a different 2-d space game with new HD grahics. I had played the non-HD 2-d space game a while ago and decided to try it and see what it looked like in HD. Well they have added a bunch of stuff to it also and in the process made it much more difficult at the beginning. I was getting eaten alive by aggressive pirates in the very first star system.

I quit it in frustration and started looking for strats where I'm pretty sure I found a mention of this game. I looked it up on youtube and found a let's play. The look of it and the music impressed me instantly. I thought it was very high quality for an alpha. I saw it wasn't expensive and the devs were very responsive on the forums so I dove in.

Edit: This is one of the articles I remember reading about the game also. link (http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2014/04/03/space-without-a-space-voidexpanse/)

Game version: 1.0.4
Game mode: Single Player
Bug Location: Space
Steps to Reproduce:

  • Fly around the vertical center of the map on the right side.
  • Aim your ship to the right (East) on a horizontal path.
  • Start the cruise mode with "C".
  • Bring up the system map with "M".
  • Wait until you reach the edge.

  • NorthWest vector http://i.imgur.com/aoU7IPb.png http://i.imgur.com/p8RH7dW.png
Bug Description: When you are flying around the edges of the map and bring the map up, it is shifting in the direction that you are traveling. This occurs when you are drifting as well as cruise mode. The first pair of screenshots show just moving due East. When you reach the edge the map also starts to shift East.

I found this interesting also. You can fly way outside the system on the right side and then start moving West or NorthWest and you can see the edge of the map  :o.

I was going to keep a save at this part of the game for testing purposes. However 1.0.3 won't load my saves from 1.0.2. Is there a way for me to retain the save and not have to restart?
#45
The interface that shows the galaxy map while you're docked leads you to believe you can set the autopilot destination. It prompts you to "click on the star to build route" and draws the path overlay when you do.

Also the "Autopilot" button then appears inviting me to click it! I understand you can only turn on the autopilot after you've undocked but I don't see why we shouldn't be able to at least set the destination since the interface already supports everything except the final step.

The change in behavior would be that when we click the "autopilot" button while docked, the destination is set and then we are prompted "Destination Set! Undock from the station and press X to engage the autopilot."

This is a change that I think would streamline the game. I'm sure I'm not the only player that is checking quests and looking at routes while docked.

If you wish to leave it like this I feel it will be less confusing to players if the "Autopilot" button doesn't appear when you're docked. It is still quite useful to show the route between systems so you can plan your loadout and make sure you won't be traveling through a hostile system that you don't want to.

I'm still having a lot of fun with the game. Thanks for listening!
