No, no need... We already released new version, but it contains some issues... will fix in 30 minutes)

Well, we have methods:

ship.GetSkills(ship_id)
- returns array, every item of which contains "id" and "level" properties.

ship.GetCargoAmount(ship_id, cargo_type)
- returns number: amount of specific cargo on ship and (if ship docked) on spacestation cargo storage.

We will add in new game build (today):
ship.GetSkill(int ship_id, string skillId)
- return skill level (0 if ship don't have it).

ship.GetCargoAmount(int ship_id)
- returns total amount of cargo on ship and (if docked) plus amount of cargo on spacestation cargo storage.

Could you test the game in multiplayer? The public server mp.atomictorch.com should work properly. If still not working, then we need to determine what exactly failed... and is not easy without specific debug information about what failed in Unity or driver.

Hello!
>> The surprise is that it doesn't say anything bad - no segfaults, no errors in log, etc. Just silently closes like I've asked it to.
Unfortunately we don't have enough control over the Unity in this part.

>> I've tried to locate configuration file (using strace) and it seems to using BOTH standard unity3d configuration file location () and it's own ~/Documents/AtomicTorchStudio/VoidExpanse/SettingsClient.xml. But it manages to save only it's own file.
All Unity3D applications uses standard Unity3d configuration file upon launch. Then our game read it's own configuration file.

>> Just as a note - Wastelands 2 (also running on unity3d and AFAIR mono) are doing the same thing if I'm trying to enable shadows. But by default it loads with super-low graphics configuration with shadows disabled and I've managed to up everything but shadows with no problems. Also it's using a standard unity3d configuration file.
That explains a lot. If you need to start game, you need to modify both game configuration files (Unity and own specific) to be sure the game launches in a lowest quality mode (which is only one not using shadows, and yes - we can't separately disable shadows, it's also the Unity restriction).
To do so, please modify Unity3D configuration file and "UnityGraphicsQuality" to 0. In SettingsClient.xml you need to change "quality_setting" to "Fastest". It should help you to launch the game, but overall graphics quality will be significantly limited.
Regards!

Could you upload server logs please? The Logs folder located near game executable (just zip it and upload to Google Drive or Dropbox). If you're using the Game Launcher, please click on the "gears" button near "Play" and select "Open Logs folder". Upload it to Google Drive or Dropbox please!

For the Windows 7/8 I prefer to use the Paint.NET 4.0 (http://www.getpaint.net) - very useful UI and fully opensource. For the Mac OS X I think the Pixelmator (http://www.pixelmator.com/) - is best for its price/performance ratio :-).
The last version of the Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/) is also good tool, especially if you setup it right way.

3. They actually do. The station is repopulated with new stock every 5 minutes. Along with changes to goods prices and statuses (sell/buy).
It's important to note: 5 minutes since last visit of any players ship. And it's never happens while somebody (you or other player) docked to the station.

I just downloaded all builds (Win/Mac/Linux 0.9.5) from the AtomicTorch.com - all extracting without any errors. Screenshot of 7-zip scanning Win build
The "missing" file should not exists in any game build. I think ZIP archive was corrupted. There is MD5 hashes of correct archives:
