Im not sure what the Dev's reasons are for not including pragmium in drone mining list; but i think its good because if you enable them, then you just make volcano too easy as you can just duck most of the enemies and send drones from a distance.

Hi,

I have an idea (well borrowed from other survival games)

In Completionist add another tab which rewards a perk
For killing a certain number of creatures.

E.g kill 500 prag beetles = prag nodes have chance to drop 3 prag instead of 2
Kill 500 fire lizard = 5 % damage increase
Kill X amount of Scorpion = improved base armor
Kill X amount of cloaked lizard = improve HP
Kill X queens = better life regen

I played with it further yesterday. My reccomendation to players is to give it a chance. Once you get the "feel" for it. It is infact very useful.

So the mods would be pretty useless and don't really improve the gameplay or provide any advantage for the mod owner. It would a problem to even display a simple circle for the search area as its bounds are not clearly defined. E.g. you stand in position X=1000 Y=1000 and receive the weakest signal, walk to X=1020 Y=1000 (for example) but still receiving exactly the same signal's strength (there are only 5 levels of the discrete signal strength so triangulating even an estimated location is a problem).

Hmm im going go have to put some ear phones in i have my volume quite low, i only here 3 distinct sound.

Scan sound
Detected sound
Deceteted  closer sound

If there are 5, is it possible to change the box above prag sensor to have a colour (dark blue,light blue, orange, red, dark red) or number ( 5,4,3,2,1)signifying how close your are. Will help hard of hearing too :D

Ive just figure it out, i personally like it.

If someone wants to make a mod on this, my idea is to leave a small red dot on minimap everytime the detected sound happens. These dissapear when prag detector is enequipped.

But i agree for your guys parts its done well.

Hi,

Ive only just tried the prag sensor, i read a lot of complaints in the chat.

I think partly down to misunderstanding of use and partly the execution needs tweaking.

To help players understand, if you look at the mini map; you will see a highlighted rectangle which represent your field of view.

The prag sensor makes a single scan sound and the radius or rectangle/grid it searches is around 20x(maybe more) as big as your F.O.V one. When you are within this invisable rectangle the prag sensor makes a second different sound. If the sound stop then you have left the grid.

My suggestion is this.

Make this grid visible ! On the minimap, maybe transparent blue ?

If there are two in the grid, make that prag detected sound twice?


My personal thought are , this sensor in its current state is useful. Especially if you know the common location of prag. As when the detected sound is made i look at map and thing " ah it must be that one"

Ill give you guys an example where its currently very useful. With the sensor you dont have to go all the way to the edges of the desert as if there is no detected sound  you dont need to check there ! Once you figure out the size of the grid you can run along thay far in from the edge of the desert.

IMO a27 laser rifle is the best. I know the laser pistol has more DPS, but laser rifle you barely take damage from fire lizards or scorpions. The stun mechanic works incredibly well VS both.

I lied, i have one more suggestion tonight.

Maybe just a PVE feature

End game you end up with a ton of LP . Now it will be even more since its easier go gain.

My suggestion every 1000 LP or more, whatever you feel is fair; place a tab in tier 5 landclaim that has a button that exchanges a set amount of LP for either a single space debris or single meteor that lands close to your base locked to you.

Hi ,

This is my last suggestion today, apologies for bombing the board with posts!

I read ai enabled write some somewhere NE volcano will need some incentives.

My suggestion ( from someone who clears the volcano and even camps there a LOT ) is to just increase the prag drop from 43-46 to 53-55 and where the loot crates are in the middle add a third one and throw millitary crate in to the mix
(currently medical and science only)

Hi,

My suggestion to give something unique to people who complete all the completionist items.

Maybe unlock further shirts ? Or something along these lines. Previously i would have said LP boost but LP gain is so well balanced in a27 now.

Maybe unlock a special decorative building or banner that recognises it.

I know you guys have plans for character customization. But...

Just a simple feature request, to be able to select a shirt rather than being given one on random. I always end up with the butt ugly octapus one.

Hi,

In a26 i exclusively used heal + nano cybernetics. I felt these were the best ones and couple with Super H armor it makes the NE volcano a walk in the park.

Now i have realised there is a third cybernetic option.

I liked the nightvision one, TBH all the remaining options have an arguement for third place.

But then i read up on the ATP cyberneric and it fits my play style as i love my energy weopons.

After testing it today i can tell you it makes no meaningful difference.

It takes eons to gain a percent, and i dont seem to be getting hungrier faster either.

I think it needs looking at. Maybe increase the speed of both the energy production and hunger depletion.

Really really pleased with energy weopons right now.

I have tested it over 8 hours repeatedly clearing the NE volcano.

I can say the laser pistol and laser rifle feel unique now, im not sure if the lighting was different before but i only noticed it now.

The laser rifle is great for sniping from a distance and when enemies close in switch to the pistol for some burst damage.

I think the laser rifle might be slighlty on the OP side though.

See what other people have to say too, if u think it is OP.  My idea is to give it an over heat mechanic, where when you shoot with it repeatedly say five shots in a row; the gun over heats and needs a few secs to cooldown.

alternatively an easier solution might be to lower the fire rate slightly.
