So I don't know if anyone else had this awesome experience: I updated from .6 to .8 and was excited to fix the Merchant issue I was seeing. I logged into my server and looked at the map and there were over 100 Merchant ships in the system, but none were moving. So I left the system and came back, hoping that it would trigger something and it took about 5 minutes for the area to load and they were all still there and it was behaving very choppily. I simply ran a /killall and cleared out all the Merchants to fix the issue, but just noting that it was an interesting result of the update. It seems only the system I was last in before patching my server experienced this. Otherwise, all is good! <3
Hi! Yes, we're unable to fix the issue as the world is already populated by stupid Merchants. Glad you find a proper way to deal with them! :D

Hi!
If you have account on AtomicTorch.com already and clicked on "No" in Steam version, it will create a new account immediately. You have to take a new name.

Hi!
Very strange issue. Have you tried reconnecting to the server?
We will try to reproduce it and fix it ASAP.

Hello!
There were a few users on Forums reported they have successfully launched the game on Debian.
We have a wiki page for this issue http://wiki.atomictorch.com/VoidExpanse/Linux_Compatibility
Also please be sure you've installed the latest proprietary driver for GPU.

Help section / Re: Internet Error
April 02, 2015, 05:39:53 PM
Hello!
We have a page about it in our wiki http://wiki.atomictorch.com/VoidExpanse/Troubleshooting
It seems the game is blocked by Firewall and cannot connect to the internet. To fix this, you need to add the game to the firewall exclusions list.
Regards!

Hmm you don't need the port unlocking for that case. The game trying to connect to the UDP port 4003 on atomictorch.com (the master server). You just need to allow this connection in the firewall rules.

Get ready to hotfix the VE server for multithreading :D:D <3
I'm ready =-). But first we need to measure how many active players a normal server can handle and what subsystems require rewriting for multithreading first.

Right, I forgot to mention that the server requires connection to the Master server.
The game server should use one UDP port for the game connections. The another UDP port is used for the outgoing connection with the Master server and it's selected randomly on the server start.
But in your logs it seems the server successfully connected to the Master server, so it should works.

yay finally :D
I can remove my command line options, thanks! Also the no longer stuttering radar is brilliant, as it's usually where you're looking when navigating (cruise mode)...
Yes)
BTW, in borderless mode you cannot select active monitor from the game. Do we need to add this feature also? :-)

Have you tried adding the server ip:port to the Customs servers list at the client?
Also have you tried to run the server on your local machine and connect to it? If it works, then the issue is not client-related and we need to get know more about the network connection (do you use VPN?) and the server configuration (what version of Linux, installed firewall, etc to help us reproduce the issue).
