You can use "whitelist" feature. http://wiki.atomictorch.com/CryoFall/Server/Setup
Or make your server private and share its public GUID with your friends, so they could connect via Custom servers menu in the game by adding the server by entering its public GUIDΓÇöthis way it's not much different from a password, only your friends (who know your server public GUID) could connect to it.
