Hey all,
I can't, for the life of me, get the game to work (which is weird because I know I've played before). I keep getting the endless "connecting to master server" loop.
Yes, it is allowed through my firewall (just default windows firewall). I even tried disabling the firewall and antivirus (Microsoft Security Essentials) completely and still no luck.
I haven't played the game since 1.0 and just want to try out all the new stuff that has been added since then :(

It seems something wrong happens on the master server. We're working on it now.

I am having the same problem right now. Is there something I am not doing first. I just bought the game off steam and can't even play. Thank you for any help.

Could you upload all the game logs from /Documents/AtomicTorchStudio/VoidExpanse/Logs on Google Drive or Dropbox and provide the link please?

The error is: "Failed to send packet: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions."
It seems the socket is used by another application - or blocked by some firmware/security software.
Have you try adding the game to Firewall whitelist or temporally disable it? There are a game wiki page (http://wiki.atomictorch.com/VoidExpanse/Troubleshooting) about it.
