I only have installed your mod, nothing else, and i try to install missile weapon on the new freighter hull from your mod, the one i get from Joe after the first mission.
I will check again, maybe i've missed something, but i'm pretty sure i can't equip and i don't have the skill on the skill tree.

Hm after restarting the game completly two times, i am able to play. However i have another trouble : i'm an Engineer, because i want to go Trade/Mining and nothing else seems fine for these jobs. I need to stay alive, so i try to equip a missile weapon and a beam weapon, as my freighter allows me to do so. But i can't. The missile says i'm not allowed to equip missiles, but looking at the skill tree i can't see anywhere to unlock that. I've put one point into turret, one into Beam and one into Missile.

I've patched the game to the last version, installed the mod, started a new world, new character, and... nothing... loading screen after accepting my character. For now about 10 minutes.

Did i miss something ?

That seems to be a very impressive mod. I didn't try it yet, but i will certainly do. If i start a new game with that, and then you update the mod, should i start again ?

I've started too many games in order to tests some bugs etc previously, and i prefer to wait a little for my next session, to be more like "playing" and less than "testing".

Is it a good day to start, or to wait more ?

I've seen a LOT of "indy games" with a nice very little community and good relationship with developper(s), with patch every week or so... until they go to Greenlight or Kickstarter or alike. Then, it's the fall. Less communication, less updates, less quantity and less quality !

But i feel confident about Void Expance !

It seems good with 098 without mods. However the game opens an error window when i save my session, but i can't access the window, i can only see there is something opened on the task bar (Win7). I can still play, just need to wait 10-15 seconds and it passes.

Hi,

I'd like to save my game in different slots, and also to save without exiting the game. I know there is autosave system every 5, 10, 15 minutes, and autosave when docking, but it's all auto saving. I'd like to manage my saved games myself, with different slots if i want to try something, or just for safety (i've already lost several saved games in my looong life of player, because of computer crashes, electricity failures, etc).

Please ?

When i try to use it in 097c, new single player game, i don't see any difference in portraits. I've simply copied the files into the mod folder, so now i have this :

Miners_Heaven
RJ_avatar_set

Hi there,

I want to play a new game with 097c version, and the mod Miners Heaven : http://forums.atomictorch.com/index.php?topic=239.0

So i start as an Adventurer, talk to Joe, recover the package, mine some ressources, buy a new hull (Endeavor)... and then i save and quit, just in case, because i had troubles in previous 09x versions.

When i load my saved game, i start from the first step, Talk to Joe, with the civilian hull.

I'm sad.

I have a very common computer, hardware and software, running Windows 7 Complete Edition.

I did that :

Renamed Server folder into old_Server
Launch game via Launcher
Main Menu ! No going back to desk.
Solo in grey, can't play.
Multi : can't connect to official server. It tries to load but fail. I'm able to connect to Kulix.org and play.
Save and Exit : Main Menu ! No desk.

So, all seems good that way. Only bad is i can't access solo of course.

Testing 0.9.4 now and it seems all the previous troubles are gone, but one : the game brings me back to Desk everytimes before Main Menu screen, and i must alt-tab to go to the game again. Not a big deal, but it was not like that in 0.8

I've tried the new update.

As always, before Main Menu, back to desk and i have to alt-tab to go back ingame. Then, i tried to load my previous save. It worked, but my ship was completly naked, and the shop was emplty. Nothing at all. So i went back to Main Menu (and alt-tab again) to create a new game. Character creation ok, then loading screen, and... loading... loading... loading...

So i exited the game completly, and relaunch it. Again, alt-tab before Main Menu, then new character, again infinite loading time. I tried again, changing nothing, just trying more.

New game, character creation, loading, and, yes ! Ingame !

And everything seems smooth and playable. Option on Very Good, stable FPS  > 50.
