I just got a Trade Mission that needs 100 Serizonite Ore. I haven't found any asteroids with this particular ore yet. Anyone have any clue where it can be mined?
Well, it's very common ore type. If I'm not mistaken it should be in the rocky asteroids.
I've gotten these sometimes from killing pirates but you can mine them as well. They are in black and red asteroids. I'll take a screenshot next time I see one. You can also buy them in stations.
Serizonite ore contained in the lava asteroids. They're quite rare and can be found in the blackhole and Xengatarn systems.

Here are some of the ores I have found during my travels. The Serizonite Ore was found when I was in the system with a black hole. Have to be careful though it will try to draw your ship in. When this happens, hold down space bar to keep the ship from moving while you mine. Also it takes a very long long time to mine it so make sure you have the points in mining speed to help you retrieve it faster.
