Seriously though, one major problem with being a pirate would be that NPC miners,
after they mined some asteroid and then being killed, do not drop what they mined,
not even if you saw them mining and then kill them.

This is an issue, for now.  I can see the devs remedying this in a future update.

Alien sectors respawning over time is a feature I can get behind.  It would be nice to see them repopulate areas over a few days.

Glad to see a North American hosted server coming from you.  I'll definitely be checking this out, and I hope it will grow into something to be admired.

I like this idea of having both PvP and PvE, in their respective locations, spainion.  Hope you can make it work.

The server is hosted out of Northern Ontario, Canada.

I'm currently using a 50Mb/s connection to host with, but the distance across the Atlantic still burns a bit for latency I guess.  Hoping its not bad for Europeans to play on.  Please let me know what kind of ping you are receiving.

I am currently hosting a new teamwork-oriented server for the community to enjoy!  Here is a quick run-down of the server features available.

* Player limit: 128 (Currently stable.  Need many connections at once to test viability of 128p setup)

* Ship penalty: No - Lose inventory and cargo, but not your ship.

Was on the server this morning, and was having fun.  It was running smooth. No latency or rubberbanding issues noticed during nearly 2 hours of gameplay.
