  I really like this game and put it down for about a month or two then found out it was gonna be coming to steam so i picked it back up and I can't login I'm not sure what the problem is but it appears to be server side and not me from what I can tell, please help me out here!

Edit: Internet Error it seems to think I'm not connected to the internet, even though I'm typing this right now and its attempting to connect, I checked my firewall and even turned it completely off just in case but no cigar :/

Edit 2: Still haven't found any way to bypass or fix this I have my receipt in my email so if a dev or someone can help me figure this out i would really appreciate it

Edit 3: Downloaded the Atomic Torch Launcher and it's now downloading the most recent version of VoidExpanse, guess my old one was too far out of date or something, anyway this thread can be locked or whatever they call it, hopefully people will catch onto downloading The Atomic Torch Launcher and hopefully it will help them out as well.

Running Windows 8.1 x64 mid level gaming pc. Can scan my signature and id onto an NDA, would love to help get this integrated to steam and i SUPER HOPE THE SERVER LIST UPDATE WORKS (^_^) Multiplayer HYPE!!!

I'm loving the fang with the 4 rocket multi launcher in every slot. 1 - 2 shots and i kill anything up to level 15, 15 shots and i can take out death bringers. e_e

Found a new bug, or maybe the game updated and im not aware, played for about 5 hours, 1-3 yesterday, 2 today. After i saved and quit, been chillin out for about an hour or so, went to load up my world and much to my agony and despair, my save file is corrupted XP Still enjoying the game though, I found the cargo ship with 450 cargo so it made getting back to my previous save level pretty quick, sure i can do it again.

Was playing for a couple hours when I decided it was time to quit for a while, I did alt tab a few times before I quit playing. When I decided to quit, I pressed escape, chose "Save and Quit" and then I chose "Quit" in the main menu. Just tried to load up my game and now the file won't load saying, "Cannot load, save corrupted". I did nothing to the files, I hadn't messed anything in any files or folders. I guess it's juts a bug that can happen... unless the client updated and i didnt get any notification of it.

 

i use winrar as my extractor, is the problem that i need to use 7zip? gonna test it out rl quick and see if thats it, will get back with update

So i died, upon dying i saved and quit to see if it would save my ship, it didnt, it perma death'd me and im stuck now, im level 22 and i dont wanna restart BUT i found this,

Hello! Thanks for reporting. Will be fixed in the next version (but sorry, savegames from 0.10.4 will be incompatible with next version as we do many changes in the game code and scripts).

To fix a broken savegame, you can modify savegame data manually:
1. open saved folder and locate folder with broken savegame data.
2. rename "world.data" to "world.data.zip".
3. extract it and open "data" file in editor (the Notepad++ works good for such a big file);
4. find all strings like this and replace "true" with "false":

5. save the "data" file and add it to "world.data.zip" archive (with overwrite of current value). Save!
6. rename "world.data.zip" to "world.data".
7. enjoy recovered savegame! (after loading your ship will blow up and respawn on the last visited space station)

I cant for the life of me figure out wtf this guy is talking about, i downloaded notepad++ and the language is alien, like something out of a movie, its not even a recognizable human language and so i can not change any "True" to "False" because there is no english words used in the document. I need help figuring this out bcuz i spent 30 hours so far in void expanse trying to just mine asteroids and kill pirates and i had an orca hull with a 70k hull sitting in my storage, one skill point away from using heavy cruisers. please help me figure this out! Maybe i need to change a setting or something in order to change the language of the document??? please anything help me.
