As noted in my other post I have reinstalled and began a new career within the game. Maybe my thinking is wrong but I could swear you used to be able to save your game while on a station. I dont see the save button now if it  was there once. Does the game auto save when you dock? The only other way I see to save is to hit escape and choose save & exit.

Id really like to save while in game and not exit each time. Am I just missing how to do it?

Just a thank you for all that you've done to give us this wonderful game. Also thanks for putting up with us patiently in the forums no matter how silly our postings are. Its a nice change from devs who seem to hate their customers.

I find myself again ready to reinstall VE and get back to the space lanes. Im still telling others about it as I can online. Still one of my favorite space games and still a lot of fun to play.

I look forward to any future projects from you. Good luck in everything and thanks again for all the fun you've given me and others.

I think I found this all by looking for games like SPAZ(Space Pirates and Zombies). I just love a good overhead space game. Stuff like this, SPAZ, Space Rangers 2, even Starport Gemini 2 comes close. Love them. I play more VoidExpanse than any right now.

I suggest making the storage area on all bases be universal so when you go somewhere all your stuff is still in it no matter what system you are in. As is I have to fly my fighting ship around but if I want to do a trade mission or just take a break and go mining I have to buy a new mining ship for that because its only good in the single system I buy it in unless I want to use it to go places. I think it would be better to be able to switch ships wherever I want to. I mean if I own it why cant I get to it?

Thats what I want to do but Ill have to buy a mining ship everywhere I go. Ive decided to  just buy a large mining ship and fly it all over until I just cant survive in fights with it any longer. Stupid me bought the freighter only to find I cant fly it for another 2 levels.

So to mine I really will have to buy a new ship in every star system I visit. Does that sound fair to anyone? Guess I wont be mining. Ill have to pick a ship and just stay with it.

I left my old hull in storage. I keep the big cargo one to make money with. Figured Id just get it out of storage in each new system I go to and mine for a bit. But when I got to the next system its not in storage. Is storage not the same in each system? Do I have go get the item in whatever system I leave it in? Ill forget and lose stuff all over that way if so. Thats like a game breaker.

Its always needed more interests. In the old days mags covered these games. But most mags and online places are long gone. Its all word of mouth for this now. Sad as this is a perfect little space game and loads of fun. Honestly if given this or some AAA title like Star Citizen Id pick this every time. The overhead view, the ability to mine rocks, and the fighting and play is just my favorite style.

What can I say I LOVE space games. Always have always will. I love VE. For a VE2 Id love to see owning things like trading posts or weapon shops. Some kind of business. Id also love some type of carrier ship or hirable mercs to protect my mining ship. So many ideas :)

And now Im dead and Im broke thanks in part to a crosshair that does not change color to red over an enemy. Usually I can use my minimap to distinguish and enemy from a friendly but this time there was a big fur ball right outside the starbase and Im sitting there not sure who is who because they are weaving around all over the place. I got shot enough to lower my shield while trying to figure who to shoto at and a misplaced turret shot got me. Now I have no cargo and zero money...with pirates all over the area its going to make it tough to mine enough to get started again.

So what are you...a shield player or the type to use armor. I dont like that it makes me choose...Im terrible with decisions. Im thinking shields myself but my shields fail after 2 hits. Maybe I should try armor?
