Title: Avatar Set
Author: Flessen

Description: Expands the Avatar items available for character creation: Because more isn't enough!

I thought I'd do a little bit of addition myself. In particular, add some colour options to the existing items, such as hair and eyes. I've also added a couple of new items, and plan to add more in the future.

As a happy side effect, this has also affected NPCs, giving them more variety when they're generated.

As always, I welcome any feedback or requests :)

Mod version: 1.3.0
Game version:1.0.x

The link you provided requires to login into dropbox to open. I guess it is set to private.

But the idea sounds neat :)

When i try to use it in 097c, new single player game, i don't see any difference in portraits. I've simply copied the files into the mod folder, so now i have this :

VoidExpanse/Mods/

core.cpk
Miners_Heaven
RJ_avatar_set

(edit)

ok i've checked the ModsConfig.xml but i don't know what i should write. RJ_avatar_set ?

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="yes"?>
<mods>
  <mod>core_1.0.0</mod>
  <mod>miners_heaven_0.0.1</mod>
  <mod>RJ_avatar_set</mod>
</mods>

Sorry, I should've included a readme.

You were close:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="yes"?>
<mods>
  <mod>core_1.0.0</mod>
  <mod>miners_heaven_0.0.1</mod>
  <mod>RJ_avatar_set_1.0.0</mod>
</mods>

I'll throw a readme together later when I get back

Lurler

Tchey, you could use our starter. Then it will do all the work for you. You could just put ticks next to the mods you want to enable.
Press a cog icon next to play button to configure mods.

FlessenGreendart

I'll also make sure to suggest that in the readme!

Tchey

Thanks, i could play with the mod, with both methods (edit xml and launcher).

Small Update has been applied - Added more hair colours for the new haristyle.

Also, readme has been uploaded too

Hi all,

I've got the game approved on the nexusmods website, so you can access my mod from there:

http://www.nexusmods.com/voidexpanse/?

http://www.nexusmods.com/voidexpanse/mods/1/?

Hopefully, this might help raise awareness for the game, also giving a decent platform for hosting mods.

Further news: I have a little mod that I will be uploading later.

Here's an update:

I was finalising version 1.1 when the AtomicTorch team announced that their next update was going to include more avatar items, so I held fire on it, and I'm glad I did!

The guys have done a wonderful job at adding in female options, and more!

I've quickly adapted my mod to the new additions, and I've thrown in a couple of new things, and here it is; version 1.2  ;)

(Bonus points if you can guess what the new additional outfits are based on)

Looks great. I especially like the first girl on the right :)

Anyway, what I wanted to say - could you possibly upload your mod to some alternative platform that does not require registration for download? I am sure many people would appreciate having an alternative.

FlessenGreendart

Whoops, didn't realise there was a file size limit!

Added dropbox link :)

Quick request:
I'm preparing an update for this mod for when the Steam version becomes a stable release, nothing fancy, just incorporating the localisation feature.
However, I don't speak Russian, and would be really grateful for a translation of "Face Markings" (as in tattoos and scars)

Lurler

Well, you don't really have to actually provide any localizations. You could just make your mod compatible with localizations in case someone wants to do it, though.
As for "face markings" - to be honest I can't think of any way to translate it so that it is 1 or 2 words :) I guess it could be "татуировки" (tattoos), but it isn't exactly that.
