Hey AI,

So this morning I checked the forums seeing that someone mentioned that kunix was down. Checked myself and it was.
I logged into my server and saw that the session in my screen was still active but it was stuck on saving. When checking htop I saw that all 8 cores were fully in use.

I had to manually kill the bundled server launcher.

Logs: (not sure if you can find anything usefull in there)

I have to say that when I launched it last night it was running fine.
I have started it again with the bundled launcher and will keep monitoring it during the day.

Hi!
Thanks for reporting.
It seems that was caused by a massive memory leak:
total_memory_gc_mb=2120.23
total_memory_process_mb=3268.65

The bundled server should run fine as it uses the same code, as non-bundled Mono... Will investigate it!

Regards!

Checked kunix again, indeed a mem leak - sitting idle for a little more than an hour and the ram usage was above 1k.
Switched back to the exe executable.

Goodluck :)

Thanks for the fast response.
It seems we should not use Mono 3.12 as it much slower on 64-bit in our case and causes memory leaks.
I will rebuild bundles with a previous stable Mono version.

Updated to 1.2.7 and used the 64bit bundled launcher :)

How it works for you now?
BTW, 32-bit version is uses nearly twice less memory with nearly the same performance (and, I think, faster saves as it doesn't require serialize so much data from memory to create the savegame).

Server hasn't crashed - checked the logs, saw that people played on it.
It runs now idle at 8-10% cpu (same as 32bit one) and is now at 824 mb ram.

I wasn't yet able to play on the server yet as I wasn't home. I will have some time after work today

Great! Please send me the log file later, I want to look on the memory stats.
Regards!
