So i'm trying to create a local server for me and my friends to play ( we all just got the game and love it )
i can see it in the lobby but it says "Not Accessible please check adress"
which is strange since the ports are open and im not using any local firewalls but my antivirus
everything seems fine except this part with the UPnP

I think the port is not opened correctly? Are you sure it's opened for UDP for the port which is in your config file?

Also, can you locally connect to the server? If not, did you enable whitelist? Did you add yourself?

I'm pretty sure i forwarded the port correctly
5000 UDP

Whitelist isnt enabled

EDIT: As it turns out my router has Port Forwarding/ Triggering, and the server worked after i added a service in Port Triggering Area (im using a NETGEAR Router VEGN2610)

EDIT2 So i managed to play for like 15 minutes before i lost connection and now it shows up in the lobby again but i can't connect to it, so that might have been a coincidence that i triggered it in the router.

Also i can see people joining and dropping from the server CMD but i can't join it.
strange

I had this issue before when running it on a VM - it was all issues related to port forwarding.
Are you running the server on the same PC where you will play VE on? If not, can you put your server in an DMZ?

Yes, im running it on the same PC im playing it on.
i manage to play for a while and then it disconnects and its unavailable

EDIT: after endless poking around the router i think i managed to port forward properly, the server is running perfectly now.
had to erase old settings

Hello!
Glad it works now.
We've even implemented the UPnP feature for auto-forwarding, but some routers don't have the proper implementation of this feature. Sometimes update of the router firmware helps.

Regards!
